Matt Doust’s final works go on display at Thinkspace Gallery this Saturday, 7th.

“MATT DOUST ‘Final Works'

1984 - 2013

6-9PM on Sat., Sept. 7h

The world lost an amazing soul last Wednesday. Our good friend Matt Doust sadly passed away after suffering a fatal epileptic seizure. He had just completed work on his debut U.S. solo show and the family has requested we carry on with the show as a celebration of Matt’s life and all the amazing work he left us with to remember him by.

Matt’s beautiful energy filled a room and touched everyone in his life. Wise beyond his years, all of us at Thinkspace feel fortunate and blessed to have had him in our lives if only for a short time. He had so many ideas yet to be materialized, so much skill, so much vision… so much still to share with us all.

Come celebrate Matt Doust’s life with us and his family and friends. We hope that the vibe will be positive and uplifting as if Matt were there in the room with us. Anyone that had the pleasure of knowing Matt knows that he brightened any room when he was present. We will miss him dearly and this special exhibit will serve as a powerful final memorial. His art will live on forever.

The family has requested that the public not bring flowers, gifts or candles, but to please make a donation in Matt’s name with the Epilepsy Foundation Of Greater Los Angeles. We will have a donation box at the opening or go and donate in Matt’s name.

On view through September 28th
