There’s an incredibly exciting four person exhibition currently on view at Hashimoto Contemporary in San Francisco,

Titled “Second Nature” the show features the work of Bessma KhalafJacqueline NorheimSteuart Pittman Dan Swindel

These four artists - each currently based in Oakland, CA - form their practices around the representation of experience as material. In reference to the idiom “second nature”, the works on display are a result of an innate pull to continually transcribe and further expand one’s surroundings.

Curated by gallery director Megan Cerminaro, the show is a compelling departure from the gallery’s previous programming.

On view until November 14th, we highly recommend you check it out.
