The German artist Markus Linnenbrink created an incredibly colorful journey in a tunnel in a prison in Duesseldorf (Germany), where visitors pass through to see their friends and loved ones.
If you take a took at the images you get a sense of the space. Imagine what the tunnel must have been like before the transformation: a claustrophobic, long winding space with monochrome white walls and those ultra functional yet hideous neon lights. What a depressing expereince it must have been for the visitors.

Oliver Alexander-Jones - Colour (2012)
Artist’s statement:
“This is a series which has been going through my idea process for some time.
I’ve finally started to shoot it and, more than anything, it’s a slow, ongoing project which, despite the challenges, does bring me a huge amount of pleasure to be photographing.Generally, it’s all about the sitter and their favourite colour. The reason I want to base this series on colour is because of the fact that, if I had to pick lifes’ biggest value, in my opinion, it would be colour. Colour of any form.
I want to antique the faces of some of my closest friends with a colour of their choice.”
